Parents, does it make you mad when non-parents laugh at parental cocnerns?

Today for example I panicked at work bc my teacher whom I aide her clroom with told me her fiance's 12-year-old son has swine flu confirmed sicne friday. She herself is not sick and neither is her fiance. But I still said I couldnt get too close to her and the other teacher started laughing at me and saying how people every day die from the regular flu and that it's "just the flu". Then alter on during the day i cleared my throat and she said "oh no youre getting sick." I know she was jsut palying around but I dotn fidn the diea of me getting swine flu and giving it to my 15-mon-old girl funny at all. She then said "I hope I do get swine flu, bc then i';d lsoe weight" about ehrself. THAT just sickened me. She's 33 with no kids (obviously). I just wanted to slap her for making light of my cocnerns for my baby's health and for making light of this illness which is now killing chidlren daily, no matter how much ppl like to downplay it.
