When a baby stares at the wall and smiles?

do you think they are seeing their guardian angel or maybe a ghost? my 3 month old will just stare at a wall and just smile and laugh but there will be nothing there, not even a picture on the wall. and when she looks and it, its like something grabs her attention, like maybe something just appeared out of nowhere or something. i think my daughter might be seeing my MIL who ped away august of 07. my MIL always wanted a grandchild before she ped but for some reason, it just wasnt meant to happen. right before she ped, she had my husband and i promise that when we had her a granddaughter, we would name her Alexis Brianna because she has always loved that name. we told her we would. when we got pregnant march 09, we found out it was a girl. she is 3 months old now and looks like my MIL. she even has red hair like her too. my husband and i both have brown hair. im just wondering if maybe my MIL is there spiritually and my daughter is able to see her. she never acts like she is scared of whatever it is that she is seeing so im thinking she could be seeing her. another reason i think it could be a ghost or something is because she will sometimes look like she is following it across the wall or across the room. what do you think?
